Collecting and using the personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use any personal information you provide to us because this will be necessary to enter into and execute any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from which we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we will use your data to send you a quotation, to determine which specifications or requirements a specific item or service has to meet, to deliver goods or carry out work for you, to send you invoices, and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal details are also necessary for entering into and executing the agreement. In respect of procurement, this is required in order to inform you of the specifications or requirements that a specific item or service must meet in our opinion, send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, pay your invoices and communicate with you about other aspects of the agreement smoothly and efficiently.
If you are an applicant, we will use your data to communicate with you about the progress of the application process, the assessment of your suitability for a position that is or may become vacant, and the possible settlement of any expenses that may have been incurred by you.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you do not send us your personal data, or only provide it in insufficient form, we may not be able to perform/fulfil the aforementioned activities.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, it may be that we must provide your personal data to those parties who supply parts, materials and products to us or who carry out work on our behalf. We also use external server space for storing (parts of) our sales & purchasing administration, which includes your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to the party from which we source our server space. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is ultimately communicated to the provider of this service.
Direct marketing
If you have given us permission to do so, we will store and use the personal data you have provided to inform you personally by email about our existing and new products and services and to submit an appropriate offer to you. Every time we send you an advertising mail shot, you are offered the opportunity of letting us know that you no longer wish to receive communications of this type. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mail shot.
Personal data retention period
If we have registered your personal data, we will keep your personal data for the duration provided for in national legislation. After this period, we will delete your personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us to allow you to view your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or correct inaccuracies. You also have the right to request deletion of your personal data or to limit its use. You can also object to the collection and use of your data, or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority concerning personal data. Finally, you can send requests to us in order to obtain your personal data or to transfer that data to another party.
